Friday 30th September, the Insider Zero Carbon Forum took place at the Clayton Hotel, Manchester and I Want Plants were one of the Event Sponsors.

Our Managing Director, Richard Rowlands was also a guest speaker on the the discussion panel.

As the name of the Forum suggests, discussions were centred around what businesses can do now to accelerate their journey towards being net-zero carbon and includes companies whose products and services are already driving decarbonisation efforts now.

The UK has set a target of reaching net-zero carbon before 2050 and Manchester has set an even earlier target of becoming a net-zero carbon city by 2038!

This Summer (2022), we publicised our initial findings following scientific research at Manchester Metropolitan University of our HYVERT living wall system and Richard shared these insights and more at the Forum.

And to coincide with the Zero Carbon Forum, Richard is also featured in the digital edition of Insider North West October, within the ‘Ask the Expert’ feature.

Richard is asked the question ‘How Do We Standardise the Science of Sustainability?’….

You can read his reply here.
