The Co-op Penmaenmawr

Following the successful installation of our first HYVERT living wall for The Co-op in Malpas, Cheshire, we've recently had the pleasure of being invited to assist with a second in Penmaenmawr, North Wales. This latest Co-op local will be powered by 100% renewable energy. And similar to the Malpas store, the focus will be to become an active part of the local community, making a positive impact and providing a service which is about much more than simply being a village food store.

The addition of a HYVERT living wall to the store's exterior, besides providing visual appeal will increase biodiversity and reduce environmental impact. Furthermore, uniquely to this project and owing to the coastal position of the Store, plant varieties were selected specifically for their resilience when exposed to extreme weather conditions. We're delighted to be in early talks for a third collaboration with The Co-op too, so watch this space!
