We’re no strangers to Alderley Park, having worked their extensively for our Client Bruntwood however on this occasion, our Client was Amspec Design & Build.
The area in focus, was a Breakout space which would present an alternative, appealing place for meetings and collaborative work.
The space was biophilically designed adding further to it’s appeal.
This striking artificial living wall was created using I Want Plants living wall sedum mats, with extra embellishment using replica foliage including Ferns, Scindapsus, Monstera and Palm to achieve additional colour and texture.
Besides the artificial living wall, we also created an artificial Ficus tree, designed to grow upwards from within the client’s circular seating.
Along with live planting to include tall Palm and Ficus species in large round grey containers, finished with a bark top dressing
The final biophilic part of this fab project was the filling of an open-plan framework.
Twelve Client troughs abundantly filled with artificial trailing plants including Scindapsus, Ivy and Ferns provide both screening and beauty.
Thank you to Amspec Design and Build for inviting us to assist with the Green Infrastructure (and for sharing some great images of the completed space with us).
If you have an idea or would like to discuss a project, please enter your details and our team will be in touch.
