Located in Manchester City Centre and following a £6.3M transformation, Bruntwood Works has just launched it’s third Pioneer Building Workspace called Bloc.
A work-place that revolves completely around well-being.
As quoted by Bruntwood Works CEO, Ciara Keeling, “The guiding thought behind Bloc is that we all work more productively when we’re in more natural and comfortable surroundings.”
This ideology is in evidence at Bloc via a plethora of new amenities and features, including state-of-the-art yoga studio, cinema room, sleep pod and systems to optimise air quality and efficient use of energy throughout the building.
With a strong focus on Biophilia too, including a cascading ‘chandelier’ garden in the foyer and an abundance of live planting, Bloc truly is a ‘Pioneer’ in modern workspace.
It’s wonderful working with a Client who is so committed to a sustainable future.
Bruntwood were the first commercial property partner to sign up to the Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Commitment pledge, which aims for new buildings to be net zero carbon by 2030 and older buildings the same by 2050.
Bloc’s stunning Biophilic interior, only tells half the story….
This was a multidisciplinary project for I Want Plants.
Not only did it involve our Custom Installations team, it also involved our Plant Rental and & Maintenance Technicians along with our Living Green Wall Technicians too!
We were delighted to have the opportunity to install our largest HYVERT living wall to date on to Bloc’s external facade and you can read more about HYVERT Bloc here
