During 2020, the Hospitality sector as we’re all too aware, has had no other choice but to constantly shape-shift it’s business model to provide a covid-safe environment, to stay in keeping with the latest government guidance ‘Tiers’.
Working with Interior Design specialists, Concorde BGW on behalf of their Bristolian client, Butcombe Brewing Co. the project brief was to adapt the al fresco/beer garden spaces for a selection of pubs within their portfolio.
By installing both artificial and live planting, the outside spaces have now been beautifully re-imagined.
A stretched weather-proof, canopy roof had curly wood, natural Manzanita and large Birch foliage attached to it’s central supports to give the illusion of two Birch trees
and eight live Lolly-pop Bay trees planted into large terracotta pots were then evenly positioned throughout.
The outside space here was sheltered by a timber pergola dressed with artificial Ivy garlands and plants in aged terracotta pots were distributed for each table.
At another Butcombe Brewery pub venue, we added artificial trailing foliage and vine to timber ladder racks suspended from a ceiling.
