We were delighted to be invited back to complete an internal biophilic planting scheme for our new flexible workspace client; x+why.
Our Design Director Jessica, worked closely with x+why to ensure we designed and delivered a wellbeing-focussed biophilic scheme for x+why’s new Embankment, Manchester location to compliment the beautiful and previously installed, roof terrace oasis (complete with HYVERT living wall).
The planting scheme consisted of solely live varieties meaning the full spectrum of plant benefits will be enjoyed; visual appeal, natural screening and air purifying – all promoting both mental and physical well-being.
The interior design colour scheme was influenced by nature and our plant containers were all textured and earthy toned. Placed in clusters or singularly for maximum impact.
Plants were also installed into bespoke built furniture throughout the communal space and the biophilic theme even extended to floor coverings too.
Plant species were varied along with the height creating additional interest and a Kentia Palm measuring some 2m in height created a perfect centre-piece!
With views towards the Manchester skyline and Cathedral, x+why Embankment looks a wonderful place to work.
