Rainwater Re-Utilisation

With modern buildings and developments putting further strain on an often less than fit-for-purpose drainage system, consideration is increasingly required to be given to the effective management of rainwater retention and surface water run-off.

However, we have found that rainwater retention can be of up to 75% following the installation of a HYVERT living green wall - courtesy of specific plants creating a root system which acts as an organic mesh; filtering and slowing down the speed of the water.

HYVERT’s harvesting of this surplus rainwater reduces the amount of waste which would otherwise be destined for the drain and simultaneously reduces pressure and energy used for local water infrastructure.
